Broken Flower Nail Cake Decorating

I am making a huge flower of gumpaste for a wedding and I just turned it over to check out how it looks as it's drying. I realized one of the petals is broken! It's not completely broken - it's still partially attached. I am wondering if there is an easy way to fix this other than remaking the entire flower (we're talking 10 inch in diameter).

If you mix some of your coloured gumpaste in a cup with a little water you will get a thick glue...paint it on with a paintbrush and hold gently until it dries, then support with some paper towel or something until it dries completely. The water evaporates after a while. No one will know.

I whip up a bit of colored royal icing. It's the strongest thing, and it really grabs well.
But not seeing your flower puts me to a disadvantage. I don't know if your color , or finish (matt or shine)

I always keep the ck powder form on hand. Cheap by the bag. It's an emergency staple.

Super Glue! just a dab and it will hold the broken petals! Learned this in one of the flower classes at Cake Camp...was either Norm Davis or Nicholas Lodge's class....now I keep a bottle of the stuff handy...they even have ones with little brushes...like nail polish....so much easier than having to put a drop on the right place!

I do what Dayti suggested. The only time it hasn't worked is on a leaf that the tip was broken all the way across. To dry it faster, I put it under a desk lamp.
